Sandon Global achieve new ISO Standard

March 2018

Anilox manufacturers Sandon Global have completed a successful audit against the latest revision to the ISO 9001 Quality Standard. Although this is a requirement across the industry Sandon’s ability to demonstrate its regulatory and statutory requirements with such a high level of customer satisfaction certainly endorses its position as the leading anilox manufacturer in the market.

Site Director Steve Ellis commented. “As companies who have also completed this journey will testify, a lot of work goes into achieving the ISO9001 : 2015 Quality Standard. As a core control within the business this achievement demonstrates our ability to work within the system across all departments, day in day out.”

Quality Manager Nigel Brooks adds. “The new standard has a real emphasis on risk management. Risk can materialise from a variety of sources so the system encourages you to consider numerous scenarios in order to design a flexible and robust quality system and culture within your business.”

Sandon Global have a track record for innovation and service. Their continuous improvement programme has delivered a broad range of anilox specifications with a variety of cell structures some of which are patented. As the flexographic print industry creeps closer and closer to gravure and litho quality Sandon Global are certainly flying the flag for the anilox manufacturers. Demonstrated recently with 50% of the 2017 FlexoTech Award nominees using their anilox systems; including the Supreme Winner. Not to mention a Queens Award, Chambers of Commerce SME Business of the Year Award and five consecutive “Supplier of The Year” EFIA Gold Awards including 2018.

Ellis summed up this latest achievement for the Runcorn based company. “Our objective is to maintain this path to growth through product excellence but also an enviable reputation for quality and service. With our eye on international expansion we have recently added a range of language skills to our sales teams including; German, French, Portuguese, Italian, Hindi, Urdu, Danish and Spanish.”
