Sandon Global Joins the DFTA-Förderverein to Support Next Generation

Sandon Global is a proud member of the German Flexographic Printing Association, the DFTA Flexodruck Fachverband e.V., and this year, we are delighted to announce that we have also joined the DFTA-Förderverein.

The DFTA-Förderverein is a support association that provides scholarships and funding to young people in the flexo and packaging printing industry—something we are extremely passionate about here at Sandon Global as we look to develop and support the next generation.

In 2024, the DFTA secured sponsorships for five individuals for the ‘DFTA Flexographic Printing Technologist’ certificate course and is covering 50% of their costs.

We are therefore delighted to join the DFTA-Förderverein this year, which is focused on supporting young people in the flexo and packaging printing industry with scholarships and funding. This, combined with our DFTA membership, sponsorship of the DFTA Awards in November and ongoing participation with the DFTA Technical Centre, demonstrates our commitment to the flexographic printing industry in Germany and beyond.”

Sandon Global is committed to supporting the development of the next generation and to sharing its industry and technical knowledge with young people working in the flexo industry. In the UK, the company is a Diamond Partner of the UK Flexographic Industry Association (FIA^UK) and is an active FIA^UK Academy partner and a firm advocate of apprenticeship schemes having welcomed 18 apprentices since 2017.
