“Ink spitting on specific colours is a well-known challenge using traditional engraving designs. We tested the Combination 75° “Fluid UV” engraving from Sandon Global and the channelled nature allowed ink to pass smoothly onto the plate, reducing ink-pressure build up and blade vibration. This solved the issue of ink spitting on particular difficult and stiff inks.”
